Carnegie Stages 15-23




The foot plates rotate into supinatus (where the sole pads go from facing cephalad towards facing one other) between Stages 17 and 19 (between days 41 & 48).  
  • If this rotation is terminated before completion, the baby is born with a Clubfoot Deformity
The feet rotate from supinatus (Stage 23) into a plantargrade position typically before the end of the first week of fetal development (between days 56 & 63).
