Vertebral Irritation

Vertebral Artery Irritation Secondary to a C1 Roll (Laterality)

C1 Roll can compress (irritate) the vertebral artery, decreasing the oxygenation to the brain.   This can result in symptoms similar to Senile Dementia.

Other reported symptoms:  Severe (throbbing) headaches, vertigo, sudden loss of consciousness, extremity weakness, nausea, tinnitus, postural unsteadiness (Savitz SI et al 2006).
